Hugh Alan attended the University of Kentucky for a BFA in studio art with an emphasis in drawing & illustration. He possesses a lifelong passion for storytelling, whether its anecdotes to his students (he has taught Kung-Fu for 25+ years and owns and operates Nine Dragons Kung-Fu Academy) or his love for running pen & paper roleplaying games. He both writes and illustrates his novels and considers the two art forms inseparable to his own brand of strorytelling.
